ethnos is a peer-reviewed journal, which publishes original papers promoting theoretical, methodological and empirical developments in the discipline of socio-cultural anthropology. ethnos provides a forum where a wide variety of different anthropologies can gather together and enter into critical exchange. ethnos encourages submissions both from scholars working in anthropology and those in other disciplines whose work can make a substantial contribution to topics of concern to anthropologists. ethnos publishes original papers that promote theoretical, methodological and empirical developments within the discipline of socio-cultural anthropology. Free Online Access to Volume 22, Issue 1 Ethology Ecology & Evolution provides publication of research and review articles on all aspects of animal behaviour, ecology and evolution. Articles should emphasise the significance of the research for understanding the function, ecology, evolution or genetics of behaviour. Contributions are also sought on aspects of ethology, ecology, evolution and genetics relevant to conservation. Research articles may be in the form of full length papers or short research reports. The Editor encourages the submission of short papers containing critical discussion of current issues in all the above areas. Monograph-length manuscripts on topics of major interest, as well as descriptions of new methods are welcome. A Forum, Letters to Editor and Book Reviews are also included. International in scope, Ethology publishes original research on behaviour including physiological mechanisms, function, and evolution. The Journal addresses behaviour in all species, from slime moulds to humans. Experimental research is preferred, both from the field and the lab, which is grounded in a theoretical framework. The section 'Perspectives and Current Debates' provides an overview of the field and may include theoretical investigations and essays on controversial topics.
