Fabrications

ISSN: 1033-1867eISSN: 2164-4756

Fabrications is the refereed journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, Australia and New Zealand. Established in 1989, it is devoted to scholarly publication in the field of architectural history. It particularly welcomes papers on the architectural, urban and landscape history of Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and South-East Asian regions, while casting its net much further afield. The journal publishes refereed papers, academic essays and book reviews that are both concerned with these regions and papers which take a wider view of international questions or issues.

Fabrications publishes two issues each year, one open, the other themed. Themes change from year to year, and have recently included 'Asia and the Pacific,' 'Nationalism and Identity,' 'Kiwi Architecture,' 'Museums, Heritage and Architectural History,' 'Style' and 'A Regional Practice'.

Fabula: Journal of Folktale Studies

ISSN: 0014-6242eISSN: 1613-0464

Fabula is an international medium of discussion for all issues relevant to historical and comparative folk narrative research. The journal contains eight sections: articles, shorter contributions, research and conference reports, information, reviews, bibliographical notes, books received, announcements of the ISFNR. The article section deals with the study of popular narrative tradition in its various forms (folktales, legends, jokes and anecdotes, exempla, fables, ballads, pictorial media, contemporary genres) and with the interrelationship between oral and literary traditions. Interest focuses on Europe and its spheres of influence, which does, however, not exclude contributions from other cultural areas.
