Journal of Orthopaedics

ISSN: 2589-9082eISSN: 0972-978X

Journal of Orthopaedics aims to be the pre-eminent orthopaedics journal and also contribute towards the improvement of the quality of health care by delivering a significant impact on the clinical practitioners through its content.

The journal publishes original research work across all disciplines of orthopedics and allied sciences. It also publishes articles on continuing education, evidence updates, students' pre-specified contributions, journal clubs, health-related information of interest to our readers and letters to the editor.

We also encourage the submission of papers from authors whose first language is not English, although it is recommended that before submitting your manuscript you ask a colleague familiar with written English to read it through. This will greatly speed up the time taken to publish your paper. It is requested to note that the journal has an international readership and all submissions should be aimed at specifying something about the setting in which the work was conducted. They must also provide any specific reasons for the research and also provide an elaborate description of the results.

Journal of Orthoptera Research

ISSN: 1082-6467eISSN: 1937-2426
DOAJ Logo

The Journal of Orthoptera Research (JOR) is the open access, peer-reviewed journal of the Orthopterists’ Society. JOR publishes work on the insect order Orthoptera and its allies, Blattodea, Mantodea, Phasmatodea, Grylloblattodea, Mantophasmatodea and Dermaptera. Its goal is the dissemination of ideas and insights arising from the study of these insects. Papers published cover a range of biological studies of these insects including their diversity, conservation, and the control and management of pest species. Acceptable studies fall within the disciplines of cytology, biological control, morphology, physiology, parasitology, endocrinology, behavior, ecology, systematics, biogeography and taxonomy. The journal encourages comprehensive and synthetic papers and those utilizing modern techniques. Case studies of interesting phenomena are also appropriate, as long as they are contextualized in terms of their significance to orthopterology and entomology in general. Alongside original research, JOR also publishes review articles, short communications, and articles focusing on policy and management of Orthoptera. Two issues are printed annually, and members of the Orthopterists’ Society publish free (excluding color signature fees for images to be printed in color).

Journal of Pacific Rim Psychology

eISSN: 1834-4909
DOAJ Logo

A quality peer-reviewed premium e-journal, the Journal of Pacific Rim Psychology has its history in the old South Pacific Journal of Psychology published between 1984 and 2005. The journal fills a void in contemporary psychology, with a focus on a region of the world that is extraordinarily vast, easily recognisable, and rich in cultural diversity and includes Oceania, Australasia, East Asia and the Western Seaboard of the Americas, and the 'hub' in the wheel - the Hawaiian Islands and other Pacific Island Nations. From climate change to disaster management and poverty reduction, the Pacific Rim region has its share of issues and potential solutions. With a focus on Indigenous and minority perspectives, the journal seeks to foster mutual capacity building in the research domain, and on questions of human development generally.
