IZA Journal Website: http://www.popecon.org/The Journal of Population Economics is an international quarterly that publishes original theoretical and applied research in all areas of population economics.
Micro-level topics examine individual, household or family behavior, including household formation, marriage, divorce, fertility choices, education, labor supply, migration, health, risky behavior and aging. Macro-level investigations may address such issues as economic growth with exogenous or endogenous population evolution, population policy, savings and pensions, social security, housing, and health care. The journal also features research into economic approaches to human biology, the relationship between population dynamics and public choice, and the impact of population on the distribution of income and wealth. Lastly, readers will find papers dealing with policy issues and development problems that are relevant to population issues.Officially cited as: J Popul EconCorrected Journal Impact FactoThe Journal of Population Research is a peer-reviewed, international journal which publishes papers on demography and population-related issues. Coverage is not restricted geographically. The Journal publishes substantive empirical analyses, theoretical works, applied research and contributions to methodology. Submissions may take the form of original research papers, perspectives, review articles and shorter technical research notes. Special issues emanating from conferences and other meetings are also considered.
The Journal of Porous Materials is an international, interdisciplinary periodical focused on the rapid publication of high quality, peer-reviewed papers on synthesis, processing, characterization and evaluation of all porous materials. The journal addresses the dramatic pace of progress in the design and synthesis, characterization and property evaluation of porous materials for catalysis, separations and sensors. Coverage includes: Synthesis, processing, characterization and property evaluation Tailoring by physical and chemical treatments Fundamental properties, including liquid-solid, solid-solid phase transitions in pores, effects of confinement on gases, liquids and organic molecules, adsorption, ion exchange and sieving, molecular sieving, and more Applications including optical, electronic devices, catalysis, waste disposal, selective separation and fixation of hazardous and radioactive ions and hazardous organic species, and more Offers the contributions of chemists, materials scientists, ceramists, c
The Journal of Porous Media publishes original full-length research articles (and technical notes) in a wide variety of areas related to porous media studies, such as mathematical modeling, numerical and experimental techniques, industrial and environmental heat and mass transfer, conduction, convection, radiation, particle transport and capillary effects, reactive flows, deformable porous media, biomedical applications, and mechanics of the porous substrate. Emphasis will be given to manuscripts that present novel findings pertinent to these areas. The journal will also consider publication of state-of-the-art reviews. Manuscripts applying known methods to previously solved problems or providing results in the absence of scientific motivation or application will not be accepted. Submitted articles should contribute to the understanding of specific scientific problems or to solution techniques that are useful in applications. Papers that link theory with computational practice to provide insight into the processes are welcome.
Please note. This journal is now published by the Society of Porphyrins and PhthalocyaninesThe following information was correct at the time of last publication by Wiley:This new international journal consolidates research activities in chemistry, physics and technology of porphyrins and phthalocyanines into a single, unique and easily accessible reference source.JPP provides the means for researchers, scientists and engineers interested in exploring the applications of these materials, to publish original research papers and short communications. As well as reviewing state-of-the-art topics, up-to-date research news, and patent reports, the journal features an up-to-date calendar of events and a running list of published papers and authors. JPP is an international peer-reviewed journal for the fast refereeing and publication of articles.
The Journal of Portuguese Linguistics is concerned with all branches of linguistics and aims at publishing high-quality papers in the field of Portuguese linguistics, including the comparison between any varieties of Portuguese and any other language(s). Contributions are welcome from linguists in all countries, and from different linguistic theories and frameworks, including theoretically oriented work, comparative work, experimental studies, and interdisciplinary contributions. Papers are selected for publication solely on the basis of scientific quality. The language of publication is English.
The journal is read by anyone interested in linguistics, especially in Portuguese linguistics in a broad sense (any variety of Portuguese, Portuguese-based Creole languages, Iberian languages, cross-language/variety comparisons): academic researchers, institutional libraries, students, and professionals in areas in which Portuguese linguistics may play a role.
With the goal of being a platform for discussion in the field, the Journal of Portuguese Linguistics welcomes papers, book reviews and dissertations abstracts in areas such as the European, Brazilian, and African varieties of Portuguese, Portuguese in Asia, Portuguese-based Creole languages, Iberian languages, and language acquisition, variation, contact and change. The broadening of the journal's scope is reflected by the composition of the board of consulting editors. Initiatives for thematic issues with guest editors are particularly welcome.
Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions (PBI) offers sound, research-based principles of positive behavior support for use in school, home and community settings with people with challenges in behavioral adaptation. Regular features include empirical research; discussion, literature reviews, and conceptual papers; programs, practices, and innovations; forum; and media reviews.
The Journal of Post Keynesian Economics is a scholarly journal of innovative theoretical and empirical work that sheds fresh light on contemporary economic problems. It is committed to the principle that cumulative development of economic theory is only possible when the theory is continuously subjected to scrutiny in terms of its ability both to explain the real world and to provide a reliable guide to public policy. #!#!The topics of articles in this journal pose answers to troublesome questions. ... Journal of Postcolonial Writing is now using ScholarOne Manuscripts8482;. Submit your paper today! The Journal of Postcolonial Writing (previously World Literature Written in English) is an academic journal devoted to the study of literature written in English and published throughout the world. In particular it aims to explore the interface between the postcolonial writing of the modern global era and the economic forces of production which increasingly commodify culture. This approach embraces the deterritorialised nationalisms, the new ethnicities which intersect with and cut across national boundaries, 'new margins' created by global economic practices, global technologies and commodities, and redefinitions of the local that globalisation catalyses. A particular focus is on the reshaping of inner maps of the metropolis through the ethnic, diasporic voices and the alternative and interstitial modes of writing associated with the new margins. The Journal of Postcolonial Writing interrogates assumptions underpinning postcolonial theory and its liberationist rhetoric by focussing upon the discursive practices informing contemporary writing and the impact of the global, the regional, and the local upon each other. Our concern is with the conditions under which a resistant 'global imagination' comes into being. We welcome critical, theoretically informed articles which will address the postcolonial in its relation to the global and open up new perspectives. These can emerge from examining the work of individual writers, critiquing contemporary theories of the postcolonial and globalisation, or revisiting classical texts of literature and canonical theories from a range of postcolonial and global perspectives. In addition Journal of Postcolonial Writing aims to publish:Interviews and profiles of postcolonial writers and theorists.Reviews of critical studies of contemporary writing.Selections of poetry and short prose fiction. Journal of Postcolonial Writing is a member of the Canadian Association of Learned Journals and the Council of Editors of Learned Journals. It is indexed in the American Humanities Index, the MLA International Bibliography, the Journal of Commonwealth Literature and in AUSTLIT, the Australian Literature On-line Database.Disclaimer Taylor & Francis makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of all the information (the 8220;Content8221;) contained in its publications.
