The Journal of Public Relations Research publishes scholarship that creates, tests, or expands public relations theory. Because of the wide range of influences on and effects of public relations, interdisciplinary research is particularly encouraged. Two kinds of articles can be submitted: reviews of major programs of research (20-60 double-spaced manuscript pages) and reports of original research (approximately 20 double-spaced manuscript pages). All methodologies are appropriate, including critical, historical, legal, philosophical, and social scientific.
