The Journal of the Neurological Sciences provides a medium for the prompt publication of original articles in neurology and neuroscience from around the world. JNS places special emphasis on articles that: 1) provide guidance to clinicians around the world (Best Practices, Global Neurology); 2) report cutting-edge science related to neurology (Basic and Translational Sciences); 3) educate readers about relevant and practical clinical outcomes in neurology (Outcomes Research); and 4) summarize or editorialize the current state of the literature (Reviews, Commentaries, and Editorials).JNS accepts most types of manuscripts for consideration including original research papers, short communications, reviews, book reviews, letters to the Editor, opinions and editorials. Topics considered will be from neurology-related fields that are of interest to practicing physicians around the world. The Journal of the Optical Society of America A (JOSA A) is devoted to developments in any field of classical optics, image science, and vision. JOSA A includes original peer-reviewed papers on such topics as atmospheric optics, image processing, scattering and coherence theory, machine vision, statistical optics, diffraction and gratings, polarization, thin films, signal processing, color, physiological optics, clinical vision, and visual optics.

The Journal of the Optical Society of America B (JOSA B) is a general optics research journal that complements JOSA A. It emphasizes research on the fundamentals of the interaction of radiation with matter such as quantum optics, nonlinear optics, and laser physics. It includes such topical areas as atom optics and cold atoms, integrated and fiber optics, metamaterials, nanophotonics, photonic crystals, photorefractive optics and holography, physics of optical materials, spectroscopy, THz optics, ultrafast phenomena, and other related subjects.

The Journal of the Peripheral Nervous System publishes original research reports, reviews, letters, and news covering every topic of scientific or clinical relevance to the peripheral nervous system. Philosophy of history is a rapidly expanding area. There is growing interest today in: what constitutes knowledge of the past, the ontology of past events, the relationship of language to the past, and the nature of representations of the past. These interests are distinct from – although connected with – contemporary epistemology, philosophy of science, metaphysics, philosophy of language, and aesthetics. Hence we need a distinct venue in which philosophers can explore these issues. Journal of the Philosophy of History provides such a venue.
