Bioelectromagnetics

ISSN: 0197-8462eISSN: 1521-186X

Bioelectromagnetics is published by Wiley-Liss, Inc., for the Bioelectromagnetics Society and is the official journal of the Bioelectromagnetics Society and the European Bioelectromagnetics Association. It is a peer-reviewed, internationally circulated scientific journal that specializes in reporting original data on biological effects and applications of electromagnetic fields that range in frequency from zero hertz (static fields) to the terahertz undulations and visible light. Both experimental and clinical data are of interest to the journal's readers as are theoretical papers or reviews that offer novel insights into or criticism of contemporary concepts and theories of field-body interactions. The Bioelectromagnetics Society, which sponsors the journal, also welcomes experimental or clinical papers on the domains of sonic and ultrasonic radiation.

Bioethics UPdate

eISSN: 2395-938X

The scope of Bioethics UPdate will correspond to the wide horizon of themes and problems that are now included in the domain of bioethics, and special stress will be laid on the interdisciplinary methodology required for a profitable work in this field. Bioethics has also shown a considerable variety of ethical doctrines, schools, inspirations that has often led to irreconcilable proposals for the solution of concrete problems, and has introduced a polemical vein in the debates. The aim of this journal is that of adopting not only an interdisciplinary but also an interdoctrinary methodology, offering a space for a rigorous critical analysis of controversial issues, in which the confrontation of rational arguments could lead to recognizing the differences but also to finding out certain points of convergence.

Biofabrication

ISSN: 1758-5082eISSN: 1758-5090

Biofouling

ISSN: 0892-7014eISSN: 1029-2454

Biofouling is an international, peer-reviewed, multi-discliplinary journal which publishes original articles and mini-reviews and provides a forum for publication of pure and applied work on protein, microbial, fungal, plant and animal fouling and its control, as well as studies of all kinds on biofilms and bioadhesion. Papers may be based on studies relating to characterisation, attachment, growth and control on any natural (living) or man-made surface in the freshwater, marine or aerial environments, including fouling, biofilms and bioadhesion in the medical, dental, and industrial context. Specific areas of interest include antifouling technologies and coatings including transmission of invasive species, antimicrobial agents, biological interfaces, biomaterials, microbiologically influenced corrosion, membrane biofouling, food industry biofilms, biofilm based diseases and indwelling biomedical devices as substrata for fouling and biofilm growth. Rapid Online Publication Biofouling now offers even faster publication for its authors. With our Build Issue service, we aim to publish articles within three weeks of receiving the accepted paper*. Articles are entered straight into the online issue upon receipt of the corrected proofs and thereby receiving page numbers immediately. we anticipate that this rapid production service will allow top end research to reach its audiences even sooner , without compromising the peer-review process and whilst continuing to ensure our commitment to publishing research of the highest quality. *This process relies heavily on the immediate return of the copyright form and the return of author corrections within 48hrs of receipt. Peer Review All articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees. Biogeochemistry

ISSN: 0168-2563eISSN: 1573-515X

Biogeochemistry publishes original and synthetic papers dealing with biotic controls on the chemistry of the environment, or with the geochemical control of the structure and function of ecosystems. Cycles are considered, either of individual elements or of specific classes of natural or anthropogenic compounds in ecosystems. Particular emphasis is given to coupled interactions of element cycles. The journal spans from the molecular to global scales to elucidate the mechanisms driving patterns in biogeochemical cycles through space and time. Studies on both natural and artificial ecosystems are published when they contribute to a general understanding of biogeochemistry.Biogeochemistry is in the Top 25 Journals Most Frequently Published in by Toxic Substances Hydrology Program Scientists.
