Journal Guide

The primary constituency of the Journal of Parasitic Diseases is parasitology. It publishes original research papers (pure, applied and clinical), which contribute significantly to any area of parasitology. Research papers on various aspects of cellular and molecular parasitology are welcome.

Journal of Parasitology Research is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies in all areas of parasitology.

Journal of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (JPEN) is the premier scientific journal of nutrition and metabolic support. It publishes original peer-reviewed studies that define the cutting edge of basic and clinical research in the field. It explores the science of optimizing the care of patients receiving enteral or IV therapies. JPEN is an official journal of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (A.S.P.E.N.).

The Journal of Participation and Employee Ownership publishes original empirical and theoretical research in the broad area of employee participation and shared capitalism.

The Journal of Participatory Medicine is the official journal of the Society for Participatory Medicine. The journal's mission is to transform the culture of medicine by providing an evidence base for participatory health and medicine. It aims to advance both science and practice across a variety of participatory medicine areas of focus, including: patient and caregiver empowerment; patient-clinician partnership; use of technology to improve patients’ health and health care; participatory design and citizen science. Papers are published in six areas: research articles, editorials, narratives, case reports, reviews, and updates on related research in other media. It will explore how participation affects outcomes, resources, and relationships in healthcare; which interventions increase participation; and the types of evidence that provide the most reliable answers.

The Journal of Pastoral Theology was established in 1990 by the Society for Pastoral Theology to:

• Further the understanding of pastoral theology as a theological discipline and to clarify the nature of the discipline;
• Maintain a view of pastoral theology as a constructive theology that emerges from the exercise of caring relationships, with attention both to present lived experience and to knowledge derived from the past;
• Provide an intentional forum for the voices of diverse persons, women and men, of many cultural and ethnic backgrounds;
• Foster multi-cultural understandings of issues in the discipline;
• Promote and encourage multi-discipline and multi-cultural research in the field of pastoral theology;
• Provide resources for those who teach and those who study, through recording current research and assessing the relevant literature;
• Provide for the construction of sound theological principles for guidance and critique of practices of pastoral and spiritual care; and
• Work creatively, through synthesis and construction, to define the frontiers and parameters of the discipline.

Journal of Pathogens is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies related to all aspects of pathogens.

The aim of APMIS is to publish original research in the fields of pathology, microbiology and immunology, and from related developing areas of modern biomedicine. APMIS has subscribers worldwide.

Journal of Patient Safety is dedicated to presenting research advances and field applications in every area of patient safety. While Journal of Patient Safety has a research emphasis, it also publishes articles describing near-miss opportunities, system modifications that are barriers to error, and the impact of regulatory changes on healthcare delivery.
